Visions of Shedyra
The graphic novel guide is coming along smoothly, and i find it full of good information. However, the one thing that i am not happy with is the author jokes around so much and is so random that he comes across almost like hes irritated by the subject or completely making fun of it. I am trying to take this with a grain of salt, but to me, my ideas and my story is almost sacred in a way, and I am serious about it and about sharing it with the world. It is what i think about often when i have nothing more important to think about. I have so many words and images wafting through my mind, i feel almost as though i owe it to myself and others to put it out there. So the vision will be coming to you - all of you, to share.

You just have to keep in mind that just because two people's expertise or interest are in the same area, they aren't going to have the same view on it. So you take the truth and good from wherever you find it, and leave what you don't need be.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Levi. If you can get something helpful out of it, just ignore the "joking around". The guy who wrote the book might be just putting on an act.
ReplyDeleteI think that sometimes, if you really are pashionate about something, it's almost easyer to show others through a differnt face. If your too serious, it can even scare people off from the subject, so it could be the authors way of putting the writer at ease. You know, give them the feeling that it's ok to play around with ideas and try new things until they find what they like. Let's be honest... there is no one way to write a book!
